You still got to like Toronto’s chances in game 7. They absolutely dominated that overtime period. More often than not you will be rewarded for that effort.

They only played for 1/2 third period and got whipped by an inferior team in the other two

I watched the whole game. The 2nd goal Campbell let in was horrid. It was like the 1st goal Nordstrom scored in game 7

In O/T they had 3 shots. The deflected shot winner was a shot that has to be saved.

Price is outplayed him by a lot this series. He has to up his game if we have any shot at game 7

Exact same thing happened to Price on the Brodie goal. And that was the 1 out of 10 times that he didn't make the save. Just sucks it was in OT.

But when they needed him most where was he? Making 13 consecutive saves in OT. Campbell also let in flukey goals in the game, both goalies were at a wash going into overtime, then 1 goalie showed superstardom and the other let in a back breaker

Agreed. Based on what I've seen I think it's Marner that has to go.

- matthews/marner aint doing anything but keefe refuses to break them because they want to play together

- thornton playing every game and playing 1st PP unit; i was against that signing from the begining but forcing him into the line up when the man can't skate, can't make plays, can't hit, cannot snipe goals.... i mean these are 4 things required to be playing in the NHL why is this old man still dressed every night?

It will 100% be Nylander, and the team will have lost its best playoff performer and simply be worse for it.

We will never be able to trade Marner's contract for a reasonable return.

Guys Campbell played well but the end was a choke by him too. You have to make big saves to win, he's let in the first scoring chance in OT in back to back games.

It's not his fault, but if that's what you're gonna do expect to lose a lot.

Campbell just laying there out of the play has cost us 3 goals. 2 in game 5 and one tonight. Fish flop, not bailing out Sandin with a quick smother or smart positioning and not trying to get back into the play on the 1-0 goal which would have kept it 0-0 by winning the challenge.

I get he's a feel good story but this is the playoffs so these need to be called out.

I still want to win. The only reason I would want to lose if it costs Dubas his job. Four eyes needs to go. He would probably be ok as a scout somewhere, a GM he is not.

How is these two losses Dubas’s fault?
Pretty sure he didn’t ask Marner to flip the puck and get a penalty during PK.

This team deserves to lose Spezza never had any success in play offs go back to his OHL days. Thornton is the opposite of a guy like Justin Williams. I know he was good in the reg season in his youthful days. Matter when he was drafted they compared him to Patrick Kane but look at Kane he’ll bury a game tying goal or game winning goal. Marner just is invisible. Ya that’s the rant but this team is not built for playoff success
