Well …the big 3 are not coming up big when needed and it’s has cost us this series so far. No doubt…

But where is this grit leadership ? What has ROR done? or Schenn? Are they just passengers? McCabe?

Every year you try to add grit and vets with leadership qualities and failure continues because in the end….Your big 3 need to step up…and they haven’t.

I think this is the first time we lost 3 games in a row all yr. We have scored what? 10 goals in our last 5 playoff games? With our supposed elite players making 33 mil together

On a positive note, this time the problem wasn't that the bottom six couldn't score.

At even strength, our goals were by Knies, Lafferty, Bunting, and Kerfoot (and Gustafsson), and assists (one each) by Matthews, ROR, Nylander, Jarnkrok, and Kampf.

McCabe is kinda brain dead, ROR seems overrated to me, and Schenn has done more than anyone should have really hoped for imo.

Matthews doesn't have a second gear he can consistently go to, the moment is too big for little Mitch, JT is cooked and Nylander isn't good enough to carry a team for a full 60. Just not a good mix of players.

In terms of wacky crap to shake things up before game 4, I’d strip Tavares of the C before game 4 and give it to Rielly. Nylander, Kampf, and Schenn get A’s.

Keefe stays on the bench, but has to wear a bag on his head or a clown nose. His choice.
