He's a pretty good hockey player, awesome speed, just cant finish to save his life... Steeves would fit in nice on that line, kid has been able to score at every level and just keeps getting better. Hard worker.

Eh, couldn't buy a goal. Matthews was still generating chances, but just couldn't tuck. Marner's fake slapper had a lot of prospects. Pretty bad puck luck and things just weren't clicking on the powerplay. it happens.

this loss felt like it was coming for the past few games, and tbh the loss wasnt that bad, they still played good team defense, they just couldnt convert on their chances...a big problem was the ice was also horrible which isnt ideal for a team built like the leafs. all good, its already forgotten. win the next for sammy!
