Keefe is a TERRIBLE coach. Period !

I like Keefe. I liked the timeout and the challenge.

In classic Leafs fashion, they give up the PP goal on the next play. Idiotic right there.

Completely listless. Off nights happen I suppose but Christ the game was within reach. Samsonov was giving them the chance.

Best thing tonight was Samsonov standing tall and Tavares avoiding a major injury.

Everything was bad, but that powerplay stood out to me as bad, stupid and lazy from design to execution. Why is Matthews being wasted on the point occasionally unleashing a slapper when that isn't his go-to scoring area? What happened to Marner being tried out in some QB position only for him to run laps around the ice. Why is Morgan Rielly sometimes in the slot? Are they scared of the slot? So many dysfunctional ideas with that unit.

Gutless performance from the entire team today, from the top, down. Samsonov was the only bright spot. Sloppy, uninspired, abysmal in there own end. That 6 on 4 with three mins left in the game summed it up, 0 urgency to their game, couldn’t even get a scoring chance.

Generally I’m not one to get to low on them, but it’s cause for concern when in 7 games, 3 of them have been like that to start your season.

We have not had 3 games like this. That is exactly my point.

This game and DAL were the only games where we were the worse team, and DAL was nowhere near as bad as this.

Our good players need to start playing like good players. No different for any other team. Everything else clicks from there.

Good to see JT come back out, and that line with Nylander and Robertson are a real bright spot thus far.

Clifford and Engvall need to sit, and Liljegren can’t come back soon enough.
