Post-Game Talk: Leafs lose 2-1

Thought this was one of best games defensively I’ve honestly watch the Leafs play in the last two years. I don’t really care about the win, I liked what I saw today. We were getting in front of shots, making good defensive plays, surpressing shots to the outside. This kind of effort is what we need to be in games against Tampa.

IMO this game is on keefe, he’s stretching the forwards way too thin, go back to 4 lines and even out playing time. And he needs to stop dicking around with Bunting.

Gustafsson-Matthews-Tavares…the f*** kind of an OT setup is that?

He’s been great this year but this…this is the type of game that makes people dislike Willy, total non factor.

With Murray this is a 4-1 regulation loss.

Mo was fantastic, earning that money and hopefully he can build.

AM even looked great but that OT tap in is a goal 100% of the time last year for him.


I watch the US feed because the announcers and intermission shows are better - I wonder why, maybe they get paid more?

Only saw the third, which started with two stupid penalties, and two good PKs. Nylander with a rare off game, Rielly with a rare great game, which was nice to see. Sammy looked dialed in. Colorado looked the much faster team, more than I expected. Lily's miscue in OT is not going to endear him to Keefe.

It's not a one off either. He was up over 22 minutes the last couple of games, and nearly 26 against the Devils. He's dominating right now, but this is just unnecessary
