Bernier had his 3rd excellent game this year. Too bad his Detroit game made him look bad.

MTL: .929
PIT: .939
BUF: .971

DET: .667

Reimer hasn't been as great... Though to be fair, he has actually played a lot better than his stats indicated. Defense let him down on many of his goals against; same with Bernier.

I thought that goal was bad. Yes it was from a turn over but that angle

WHA'D I SAY!!?? :)

Another game in Buffalo... another loss.

What an out-of-this-world situation that jinx has become.. 45 years... just 27 wins over there... yes you read it right: only 27 wins in 45 years...when they play in Buffalo: lose...lose..lose... lo s e... l o s....e.... I was a young kid when I first noticed them losing in Buffalo...all of a sudden it's a few decades later.. and- and they're STILL losing in buffalo

it's kind of funny now :)

what a really, really weird statistic it's evolved into.

What other teams are jinxed like this? I hear Pittsburgh has a similar problem when playing in Philly? But is it as lop-sided as the Leafs/Sabres statistic when playing in buffalo??

Thing with giveaways like that is the goalie has no time to get set. It was a perfectly placed shot with traffic that the goalie could not anticipate coming out that fast. The Kadri giveaway was tape to tape and released in a millisecond.

That missed call ****ed us! Could have made it 2-0 on the 4 min PP. Instead Kane stays in the game and makes it 1-1. To top it off Phaneuf gets called! I ****ing hate hockey sometimes!

Hatred for the Sabres is almost on par with the Habs.

That shootout could have gone either way. Who expected the puck to roll on Lupul the way it did? Personally, I would have subbed Naz with Rielly.

Good explanation for someone who clearly knows little about the game.

Team looks way better; losing close, low-scoring games on account of a lack of high-end talent.

Everything is going according to the Shanaplan.

+1, that giveaway was brutal ... no time for anyone to transition or for the goalie to set.

Great game for Bernier. If not for a tape-to-tape giveaway pass by Kadri to Kane he probably pitches a shutout in this one and pick up the W. On to the next one.

On a side note, I haven't been impressed by Kadri one bit this season so far. He's been turning the puck over a fair bit and please for the love of god cut out the toe drags. They don't work.

In regards to the shootout:

-Looks like Parenteau has a special ability.
-Kadri needs to be dropped from the list. Dekes rarely work.
-I got up, made myself a snack, went to the bathroom, and came back before JVR had finished his pathetic attempt.
