For a guy who roid rages at a goalie making a poke check I'd say he was pretty well behaved for not trying to fight the empty net.

Problem wasn't goaltending tonight. The gwg was just a fluke.
They just couldn't jam in a crease scramble. Marner was completely MIA. And PP was the worst I've seen in years.

Good win for Ottawa even though it's already probably too late. Completely typical loss for the Leafs.

Typical Leafs game this season.... we came out and played well, gained a 2-0 lead... With an inferior opponent, that should have been a lead we could keep. But we went to sleep, played sloppy, gave the puck away a lot.. Good teams normally close out inferior opponents, but that's not us this year at all.
Luckily, we aren't that far back in the standings, despite what's seemed like a lot of terrible play.

Maybe running it back isn’t the best idea. I think it would be a good idea to replace Keefe tomorrow morning and hire Gallant or Berube.

Marner was pretty bad tonight. I think Nick Robertson was more noticeable in a good way offensively. And he wasn't particularly good.
I was watching Ricky Gervais special. This Leaf team is actually funnier.

I love waking up six hours before work as I'm getting over illness, seeing them up 2-0 and thinking 'I was gonna sleep in but maybe I'll tune in.' and then seeing Ottawa take to them in the second and getting a fluke bounce for the winner.
Jones was not bad and the team as a whole had back puck luck and got dinged by a few early whistles.
But even still when is Woll back? Send Sammy to the Marlies, that'll learn him.
Mitch has the numbers but has been a ghost all year. Raise? Take 11 or go somewhere else.
Willy, JT and Matthews looked okay.

It's pretty concerning how often Marner has looked liked the 3rd best forward on his line this year. Outside of a handful of games he's been putrid all year.

Does the TPS understand when they block off York on-ramp it creates a massive boggle kneck. As if Toronto traffic wasn’t bad enough.

The Leafs didn't play well but outplayed Ottawa.
Korpisalo beat Jones, unfortunately, Jones let in a terrible goal and Korpisalo came up big when it mattered.
Not a great game, but oh well.
