Yes the defending champion Tampa Bay lightening. If the leafs play at 100 % each game and everything clicks they could beat Tampa, but thats a lot of ifs.
you mean these bitch ass TB Lightening?
I agree there's no reason for the Canucks to relocate.Canucks ain't moving. That's my opinion.
Fan base is strong, so it'd be hard, though.I agree there's no reason for the Canucks to relocate.
Definitely. Joey Anderson call up.Hopefully nothing. Do people not understand that Tampa is more then likely our first round opponent, this isn't columbus, Montreal or even Boston, its the lightening. We have maybe a 5% chance to win. All these little bandaid players for a 3rd aren't going to make any kind of difference. They should win or lose with what they have and stop wasting assets.
not sure Schenn has value of a huge overpayment but a 2nd + seems fairA huge overpayment will be required for Schenn.

However, we need him for solid defense, so it's unlikely we'll trade him.not sure Schenn has value of a huge overpayment but a 2nd + seems fair
So you believe the leafs have a better then average chance to beat the Lightening ?Welcome back from your 3 year coma.
In regards to your post, I have something to tell you. You're going to want to sit down for this...
A maple leaf is falling down and lightning strikes. Guess what?So you believe the leafs have a better then average chance to beat the Lightening ?

I asked a simple question. You know its funny Leaf fans get crapped on for over hyping their team and players, but when a leaf fan is being objective and honest about the holes the team has they seem to get crapped on as well.A maple leaf is falling down and lightning strikes. Guess what?
Hey, it's still a mystery for me on how Leafs fans can be like this even to this day. I've thought about this for a few years now.I asked a simple question. Tampa is a beast of a team who are proven winners. I'd love to see Toronto upset them because I'm a leaf fan. With that being said Tampa is is one of maybe 3 teams who has an offense capable of surpassing Toronto's, their blue is is better even though Torontos is good as well, but the goaltending isn't close at all. Any team in the NHL not just the leafs would be hard pressed to beat Tampa in round 1.No team is infallable, like when the Leafs had the Habs on the ropes last playoffs.
Be like what exactly, I'm pointing out the Leafs aren't good enough to beat Tampa in round 1 without 2 out of 3 significant holes on the team being upgraded. Its called taking an objective view on reality.Hey, it's still a mystery for me on how Leafs fans can be like this even to this day. I've thought about this for a few years now.
Makes too much sense for the Leafs to get Gio.
How does this realistically really help them all that much?
He elevates Brodie just by the familiarity they have playing together for years and he has been the captain for two teams franchises now. What a scrub eh?
It's not like Gio is going to cost a fortune. I would take him over Schenn though. He is 38 years old and his best hockey is behind him. Toronto has a big issue in net, and no amount of solid defenders is going to fix that. There aren't alot of good goalies available either as the good ones are all on playoff teams and not getting traded. That and the Leafs have to find someone who wants 2 more years of Petr Mrazek just to make cap work if they do go after someone. Them and the Oilers doing nothing about their goaltending though, pretty much equates to first round knockout.
Subjectivity was what I meant. It's nice to be objective on views, of course.Be like what exactly, I'm pointing out the Leafs aren't good enough to beat Tampa in round 1 without 2 out of 3 significant holes on the team being upgraded. Its called taking an objective view on reality.
