Sloppy game by the team and Murray. First one in a while. Needed the offense to help out today and the big guys stepped up. Nylander is amazing and Marner and Auston did their part.
Also Sheldon we weren't serious when we said put Kampf in OT

It's exactly what happened too. The ref also did his emphatic "both of you" double point like three times. It should have been 5 on 3 for 2 minutes then the other 2 mins 5 on 4. That's what happened on the ice, period.

Makes all the sense in the world to start the OT with the checking line (assuming the center is decent at faceoffs). If they gain control of the puck they will change out quick for the scorers, which is easy to do 3v3. If they lose control you already have the right players on the ice to defend.

True, but we were on the wrong side of the puck most of the night. Also, many turnovers in the dangerous areas. Goalies were not good, but that was far from what we have seen recently.

Not complaining, just observing, good win.
