Amazing how Todd McLellan keeps getting jobs. He's like a cockroach that can't be killed.
Holmberg on the second line is outrageous.
I wish that they would move domi up or recall minten.
The third line with domi works offensively but not defensively.
So unless they’re cooking early, move Domi up to line 2.

Don't take Red Wings lightly, they always seem to force a back and forth, high scoring game and the Leafs need to play a heavy, North/South game (where have we heard that before?) with a shutdown mentality.
No more of this shiny hockey.
If Tanev is in the lineup this team is dramatically different in the backend. The "game time decision" worries me.
There are rumours Brad is looking a 3rd act of Schenn back in Toronto. I still have that signed puck my wife paid $10 approximately a decade ago so maybe he can come back and lift a puck so I can keep it and brag about how I knew he would do it!

AM needs to go on LTIR to free up his money, get surgery and the timeline to return is whenever game 1 of the playoffs occurs.

Maybe, but my hope is surgery is only 3 or 4 months of recovery which takes us to the playoffs. If he needed that kind of serious surgery, maybe he should have just done it? I am confused by this entire situation. What kind of doctors does this team have?

Possibly because surgery might have sidelined him for many months and they wanted to try rest/alternative methods in hopes they could avoid any invasive surgery.
That's my guess at least.

I liked watching this team when Minten and Grebyenkin were in the line up. A lot of piss and vinegar there.
