Bozak and Kessel could teach these guys.
Bozak was a good solider and paid his dues
A college kid made earned his way in this league
Very underappreciated

Hunter is more grown up and knows when to put these kids and their high prices in their place., how did Dufas do with his "profeessional contract negotations"? oh right......lol based on what? His zero history of professional contract negotiations? Lol
The lack of organizational depth is inexcusable.
Here’s the really concerning development so far this season. Muzzin looks like he’s on the decline and his partner looks like a 7 D man. One of our top pairs looks a liability so far and there is no real substitute available. That’s big.
The cupboard ain’t what it used to be. It will really show itself in a couple years. The lack of organizational depth is inexcusable.
Of course they matter to the final score. Generating more chances and shot attempts usually means you end up winning a hockey game. Usually teams that outpossess and chance the other team can expect to win more games than they lose. The "variables" you speak of have a much larger impact on smaller sample sizes (Like a lucky bounce, unusually bad or good goaltending, etc.) Like what is the harm in advanced stats? they can only help you understand the game, not hinder your understanding. You don't need to use "advanced" stats to see that the cup winning team is good. Their play and the fact they win is proof enough.
To many posters on the Leafs boards act like corsi and xgf are all that matter when they mean absolutely nothing to the final score.
I have no issue with new hockey fans or people who have a weak grasp of hockey. But don't come here and tell us how things work when the results show that you are clearly wrong.
No "advanced" stats can accurately measure what's happening in hockey. There are far to many variables. This isn't baseball.

Meh? It’s a top four pair. Huh?Meh, another body to move at the deadline if this continues.

Could be a saving grace.at the end of the day maybe the best thing dubas did was to frontload these contracts and have them relatively short in term.
the way we're playing right now, YEAH!! with Freddie in net.Not with Freddy in net.
I think from now on, a must for all Leafs draft picks is shooting skills. IF they don't have a shot, nomatter how good their IQs, skatings, passing, physical....it won't matters.

Muzzin, holl, sandin, dermott, Engvall, simmonds, marner, kase, kampf, kerfoot and bunting etc should be off loaded.Meh, another body to move at the deadline if this continues.
I have no idea how I've never seen that picture before, but it's freaking hilarious.![]()
Absolutely
I don't understand it and new things frighten me, so I hate it!!!
Funny you say that. I wonder why that lack of organizational depth is? Perhaps a certain specific contract is at fault?
There are not many prospects and they won’t all make it.Prospects are too young to replace them.
