They should be the last two this team tries to trade away. They are the last two players left who are actually good. There are two years left to make a decision on them.

I mean, Matthews is clearly a star, but to me he is tradeable at the right price. He got given the entire farm without commitment to the team. Something about him is irking me too.
It may be the slump talking but he hasn't accomplished much in the playoffs either.

Both are near the top of the league in scoring chance creation this year and no one would argue that Ritchie was a disaster on the top line weighing it down.

Why not try the far more effective Bunting with one of the best 5v5 tandems the last two years instead of breaking them up after a couple of games?
