If this keeps up, Dubas is getting fired pretty soon. All this could have been avoided if he just traded pass expert and not sign him to that contract.

I doubt they even watch the games. They solely look for any "advanced" stat that paints us in a positive light.

The only reason you would try so hard to break the game into numbers is because you can't understand it in the first place. Why would we listen to someone like that?

losing lou was the biggest mistake this franchise has made in the past 10 years. f*** this whole "new age/new gen" thinking bullshit. Hockey is hockey.... its time to face reality here. This team 1) doesn't compete 2) is extremely mentally fragile 3) Doesn't get the most out of its best players. And some of you clowns want to pull corsi numbers out your ass to support this shit..... GTFO

I'm not sure what we were expecting. This team is just straight worse than the team last year.

Losing Andersen and Hyman and gaining mediocre third liners?

He's been using it sporadically and they've had some decent chances together. Fun to watch for sure.

Sort of a mix and match game tonight with not much chemistry happening. Keefe certainly going on more gut tonight. All the stats point to Matthews/Marner being the best 1st line pairing the Leafs have. One of the best ever actually. If this continues tonight, no brainer to go back to those two (the only two platers that wernt on the ice for a goal against last game).

Hockey has changed, and the players have changed.... but that doesn't mean you remove all accountability.

Imo the shooters have the advantage.

Remember sundin lighting cujo up during the Olympics? Seems like a bad move to play a goalie against his old teammates, especially talented ones.
 
How many times do I need to see this same shit with the top line getting out worked on icing draws? Can we try something different? Or are we just saying f*** it who cares? We suck anyways?
