It's the proposal from the Mike Futa interview, are you saying Nylander substituted for Forsberg or Nylander substituted for that haul he mentioned that includes Robertson? The greatest thing of value here is by far that haul he mentioned which included those 6 assets. A Nylander for Forsberg trade has a 0% chance of happening so there's not much point in speculating it.

Edit: thing is it's not just Robbie that he mentioned it's Robbie + Amirov + 1st + 1st + Engvall + Kerfoot which is just ridiculous.

Agrees with Boudreau that you can never have enough depth on D. Ekholm and Forsberg/Granlund for ??? Thinks it will take Nylander to get Forsberg. Said this when the Forsberg rumour started.

Swear he did, it started a good take that just kept getting worse and worse. Happened sometime in the first 19 minutes I believe; there were 29 minutes left when I finally stopped listening.

He must be purposely trolling Leafs fans because nobody is dumb enough to come up with the proposal he did and think its reasonable.

I think they were riffing on what Amirov, 1st type package plus Kerfoot and or Engvall to balance salaries out could get you for an impact upgrade like Forsberg and then Futa switched gears and thinks a Forsberg for Nylander would be more enticing for a team to pull the trigger.

If I were building a team or trying to make my club competitive I wouldn't trade Forsberg at all.

How did Mike Futa end up in the media personality business anyway, wasn't he still being considered for a full time GM role until very recently?

That’s what I was thinking. He was getting some good nods when he was director of amateur scouting for LA. Has a good draft record.
