I know it was close, and FLA started a comeback bid. But the Leafs played well in the 3rd. Lots of good defensive plays. They didn't get lazy or make bone head plays. Fla just poured it on and got some talented goals.

Went from a solid 5-1 win to hanging on for dear life. Would have liked a cleaner 3rd but still great to beat that bitch ass team and not fold completely

Brodie has to be replaced, he is worn down. He can't play hard minutes.
If I am Keefe and all are healthy, I am going with Reilly and Edmunson. Brodie and Gio are my alternates. This is tough, because Gio has the heart of a lion.
Whether it's Boston or Florida, Leafs need to be as heavy as possible. It is what it is.
Don't blame Keefe for decisions on the ice. These are all NHL players. He will be blamed for the player selection.
Also, I am not sold on Robertson yet as a playoff player. He does seem to have a bit more drive to his game though, but the playoffs are a different animal. We cannot lose sight of this fact.

Very pleased to see Matthews score that empty netter. To that point in the third, he, along with Nylander and Tavares had been invisible; a common occurrence late in games during our playoff nightmares. Hopefully, this helps him dig harder late in the games that count.
