Note: if frats for Bernier is on the table I would do it.
I would do it too. Our goaltending seemed a little shakey but he was still ok.

Tenders are my specialty if I may call it that. Gus is an athlete, Reims is not and will not transform into Quick, he is slow. Sorry to say it but if the rebuilds taken seriously, Bernier should be taken into consideration.
Bozak continues to be the most underrated Leaf. Outside of his sophomore slump, all the guy has done is improve and produce in Toronto. Great game by him, in both ends.
Totally agree. Wasn't a big fan of his at first (granted it was quite the challenge to be given the #1 C job) but he has really developed into a solid player.Bozak continues to be the most underrated Leaf. I'm starting to wonder if what we saw from Kulemin last night is unfortunately going to be the norm. Nothing he did last season makes me that optimistic that this year is going to be any different.Grabovski and Kulemin had bad games but there's also some things to consider.
They went from the KHL straight to a tough training camp without any time to rest. Likely a mix of fatigue and jet lag could have been a reason for their poor play.
Not an excuse but maybe an explanation.
They have a full day off so hopefully that helps them out.
I can't remember if I've seen a penalty for snowing before. Surprised me.
But yeah, I fully support that if someone runs your goalie, first opportunity you run theirs.....harder.
Montreal fans kill me.....for instance booing for an interference call when it's clearly YOUR guy doing the interfering. Do they think this magically convinces the refs of something different? It just looks dumb.
Reimer posted a .912sv% before his injury. that is still below average goaltending.
much, much better goaltending than the leafs usually receive, and good enough for them to win more than usual, but still below average.
if the leafs can get below average goaltending this year instead of godawful goaltending for once, they'll have a good chance at the playoffs

I hope it isn't. We need him to score, or he's bolting to the Pens where he'll likely get more money and the chemistry with Malkin.
Besides the snowing I didnt see anything wrong with what happened yesterday. Even the snowing was marginal.
The habs looked like garbage... LOL so bad
