Is it any wonder why Robertson would want out of here?

Guy does nothing but work and gets treated like absolute shit by Keefe.

It’s bad enough he’s lost so much development time due to injury. Now that he’s playing and starting to show some development and getting some points, first chance he’s sitting so that Knies keeps playing.

I’m a Knies guy and I’m excited at what his future brings but it’s obvious right now that a long full season has got him worn down and he needs to sit.

Anyone with half a brain sees that Knies should sit and Robertson is feeling it, but it’s Keefe and, well, you know……. Galaxy brain.

They cannot develop young players with a damn and they are doing it to Robertson now.

Would love to see what this kid could be with a real coach. I think we will see it, but unfortunately it will be because he’s playing for another team.
If it's merit it's Knies and it's a good swap out. Neither PK, both can PP2, why is it always Robertson? He's played better of late, I'd give Knies so rest, clearly the grind is a factor for a rookie. Keefe isn't even handed.

We (Toronto) clinched the playoffs for the eighth straight season after the Detroit Red Wings, Philadelphia Flyers, and Washington Capitals all lost on Friday.

Hot take: (Luck is in our side.)

The Maple Leafs sit in third place in the Atlantic Division with a 43-23-9 record, two points ahead of the Tampa Bay Lightning who occupy a wild card position.

Hot take: (Are we going to be wild card? Doesn’t really matter, Boston or Panthers will be tough series.)

7 games left. Get some players back in the lineup from injury, rest some others, work on special teams. Other than playoff opponent, one thing needs to be determined. Rhymes with “eventy”

Another Sat night that my dog hides under the bed. Cuthbert's voice hurts his ears.
Some nights I have to use ear plugs too. How did this voice become the voice of hockey in Canada. I thought it would be better after Hughson, who turns out to only be the second worst. Without Donald S, Cherry I am so thankful for Bieksa.

Wouldn't be so bad if he ever shut up. I'm surprised that at some point Simpson hasn't said "You know I'm the colour guy, right?"

Lol, I like Chris Cuthbert.

Have you heard the other announcers on SN payroll? Holy Christ. We're actually lucky we get CC all the time.

I think these may be Keefe's playoff lines. Regardless, Knies hit the rookie wall a while ago and should be getting rested.

Robertson is in a tough spot because he seems like he could be the odd man out come the playoffs. Jarnkrok is also not back yet either.

Keefe teams play down to the level of their opponents and allow them to dictate every facet of the game, so they will not be prepared for this one.

Shame that Robertson has to sit, but awesome to see Keefe finally trying the spread the talent approach. The forward lines look great.

Not sure I'd play Reaves over Robertson in this kind of game. Especially with Xherkaj out. But I think as long as Keefe rotates players in and out, it'll be ok. At least the Leafs have a lot of options and it's a good problem to have.

Unfortunately Robertson is redundant in toronto. Surprised Tre didn't try to move him in a 1 for 1 swap before the deadline.

Tampa lost, lets get a big W here and create some distance between us and the WC. Also 2nd in the WC still within reach.

I have a feeling Robertson's gonna end up somewhere else and get at least 25+ goals his first year. Bit of a defensive mess but the kid can score. If Marner wasn't here he could be a decent top 6 replacement but there's really no room for him, and he ain't bottom 6 material.

The Leafs shit the bed in Montreal these days, and given they clinched, they'll probably lose this one in frustrating fashion

Nice to see some different lines with Mitch back though.
They crushed Anaheim, San Jose so it doesn't necessarily mean they will play down to Montreal.

Is this a defense mechanism thing? People said the same thing about the buffalo game last week, and I expect this one will end the same way that game did.
