Yes there are few players outside of superstars you wish you could put in a bottle and keep forever and he was one. Leo in his prime is EXACTLY what our third line would love and what Foligno was supposed to bring in 2021

You are correct. They tend to be a stupid move makers in the end, so many of them. I'm glad and I'm sure you are too, that we have ashton-reese and aube now also. Ashton Reese will be pummeling opposite players down this season. Now that we have made it clear that simmonds is no longer good enough to be up with the club. Others are instead. That Xkehaj guy might get checked down even tonight. We have some players who can handle that. Lets see if we target him. Our own D is not that tought. Only Muzzin can look the part at times, but he is not tough like simmonds, reaves or wilson or like domi.

100% we need more toughness, even though toughness wasn’t why we lost to Tampa, that was referee f***ery and Vasilevskiy waking up during game four.

I’d need to see what this kid can do but hell yeah I’d love a kid like that, provided he can keep cool and can skate. Lybushkin kinda did that, except he had zero offensive game and took way too many penalties.

Sad thing about Simmer, but he made a great career playing a hard style for a lot of years. While he was here the offense died on his stick and he only really brought it every 7-8 games. He’ll have a league job in a second if he wants it.

Muzzin sadly is one more concussion or back injury from permanent LTIR.
