It was a nothing crosscheck that had no business being called. That crosscheck happens 50 times a game. The only difference is the Montreal player folded like a cheap tent

In the long run this game may not mean much, but it's frustrating that the Leafs let these dogshit teams hang around when they have no business doing so. Pretty sure the Leafs had a better record against Boston, Tampa and Florida combined than they did Ottawa, Montreal and Buffalo last season.

Games like this last year was the difference between drawing Tampa in the first round instead of Washington. This game doesn't particularly matter, but dropping too many easy wins can definitely be costly
