Yep, up one goal, give it back on a breakdown...up one goal again, let's turn the puck over needlessly. This would be a 2-0 game if this team played with any sense of urgency and maturity...you'd think they have learned from the last few years of playing in the playoffs.

Marner had the nice first assist, but then a no look pass that was intercepted and resulted in the first goal against. Right now, it has been at least as bad as it has been good, which mean that they are nowhere near good enough.
At least the 2nd and 3rd line have looked good. 4th line is doing 4th line things too I guess, but they could be better as well.

I'd argue him and Malgin have been our most noticeable players.
It's only 2 period so far. It takes a while for players sometimes to get into the swing of things

This will go over like a lead balloon, because he scored an easy tap in open net goal, but I think Malgin has been pretty useless to be honest. Awful on the walls and that line needs that. Just an observation, he has skills, see how it plays out.

It's not the missed chance, it's the boneheaded penalty in the offensive zone, which if we recall, were a major MAJOR contributing factor to our losing game 6. He's always taken stupid penalties.
