But what I wrote is that with TERM considered, Matthews is the highest paid player in the league.

Term has nothing to do with it. If mcdavid has one year left on his contract $12.5m does that mean he is still not the highest paid player in the league?

What you wrote is irrelevant because you were calling about someone who said he is 2nd highest paid player you brought term
