First game in eons what it felt like with a big victory to boot and it’s pin drop silence in here with 3 pages of the post game thread, I guess folks are still recovering from New Years lol. Happy New Years all, Cheers.
I was shocked to see only 4 pages this morning. I don't think I've ever seen that before. I think it may also be a bit of weariness. With all these events and games being cancelled maybe people feel as though recommitting their time and energy to the NHL may result in yet another let down. I know I was not as pumped as I should have been for the game yesterday.

The boys looked fantastic. No rust at all.

That felt like a typical Leaf game in the North Division last season.

Good team to warm up against, and I felt the same way in this being a Déjà vu of already seen this as a return to the North Division.

I'm guessing the upcoming Oilers game going to repeat that process as well.

Nylander is quickly becoming the player I enjoy watching the most. He looks like the best version of himself this year.

Nylander reminds me so much of a poor man's (right shooting) Almo. Fast, strong sublime skater that backs defenders off. Deft hands with a wicked shot and great passing skills. Hard to take your eyes off the guy.

Not this guy love all three would like to see holl sitting He’s been so frustrating this season

I thought Holl played very well last night! The reality is we need holl to find his game. If he can play like he did last year, we are a much better team at the end of the day and don’t have to spend assets to upgrade

I wouldn't take much from this game.

Sens didn't show up and showed little resolve.

I want to say, maybe Sandin needs to play with Holl, as they looked good but see above.

The Senators from last night wouldn't have challenged any team.

Did anyone see that deserve to win o meter that had the sens at 10 percent LOL. That should be a legitimate 100-0. Mikheyev looked like a superstar, so happy he's back in the lineup. Phenomenal game by him, hoping he keeps the momentum going. Brodie is an absolute stud. Quietly one of the best defensive d-men in the league, not flashy but the guy is f***ing good. I didn't realize there was a game til I got the 2 SHG notifications on my phone. Nylander once again played like a beast, great game all around.
