This is worse than last night I think... or close to it.

Like, it's shift after shift of nothing. Then a mistake. Then a goal against. Then hours of nothing again.

Big money players generating next to nothing other than the one play by JT.

Ridiculous. I thought this would be a bridge year, but holy crap batman.

We have reached the year where scrapping the bottom of the bucket hasn’t yielded in finding any NHL level talent

This team either looks great or absolutely terrible. There’s no in between, and they look awful far too often.

At this point I wouldn't mind this team just falling flat on its face so some actual f***ing change happens. This is a god damn joke

Marner and nylander have been god awful

Marner has been so useless two way, invisible offensively and a pylon defensively

Nylander has just been awful.

McCabe fumbled the puck twice on consecutive shifts

That’s the problem with the team. Or one of them. NO puck talent on the back end. An ancient OEL and an overplayed Rielly are nothing compared to contending teams who have actual talent on the back end.

It’s not just McCabe, this has been a problem for the entire rebuild era. I’ve never seen a “skilled team” bobble pucks this much, we have to lead the league in unforced losses of possession over the last decade. Missed passes, mishandled pucks, pucks shot into shin pads or just fanned on, you name it. I just don’t get how Matthews and Marner can at the same time steal and immediately control impossible midair pucks on one shift and then whiff a simple unpressured pass the next.
