Post-Game Talk: Leafs beat kings

Great game and another nice effort. We finally got some goal onslaught. Everyone but Holl and Ritchie were good. Sandin was fantastic and helped Lilly on a couple occasions who also played well.
Good for Durzi too. This might be a draft win for Dubas if he becomes an NHL player. However not looking forward to Noodles saying he will be a player. If he had 2 points in his debut for us, Noodles would say he might be another Rosen so lets relax.

Yup, Domination is the word! The leafs are now playing a style that will win in the playoffs. Very excited to see what happens in the postseason now.

That run and gun style is garbage, and is 100% going to fail in the playoffs every time.

f***ing SICK performance by the boys, utterly dominant. We were sooooooo much better, the Kings were generating basically nothing but weak outside shots, while the Leafs were generating endless AAA chances. Great effort, great execution, great game.

Ritchie somehow still managed to look bad in this one, but essentially everyone else came to play. Especially loved that PP backcheck/steal by Willie.

That boarding penalty by Matthews.

Although not a particularly violent hit, it was solid hit into the boards.

Some fans will like that, because it was good!

Perhaps Matthews was trying to impress his bud, Bieber the beaver, who was in the stands with the other celebrities.

Matthews pancaked that Kings playa so hard, the announcers started talking about the time Bieber was accosted aggressively in the corner by Chris Pronger in a charity game. That incident, nothing charitable about that.

Did witnesses and Bieber fans cried out loud?

Possibly.

Also good on the Oilers, I hope they're playing a nice course when McD and Drai learn they've won their trophies.

Lol, no kidding. The Oilers will be swept in the first round. Garbage D and goaltending. If you want a good laugh…check out the Oiler fans on the main board. It is hilarious :laugh:!
 
They needed a laugher like this It's good to see they can win the close games but once In awhile It's nice to see total domination.

Hopefully Kampf is OK because his loss would be HUGE for the PK
