The problem with looking at save percentage alone is that you're not judging the quality of goals he's giving up. He's never going to be Helle if that's what fans are expecting. The same way Scheifele is never going to be Matthews...

I'm very quick to call a bad goal, a bad goal, or a soft goal, a soft goal. I'm no Freddy defender by any stretch of the imagination... But I'm realistic with who he is. Of the 3 Jets goals tonight, I thought only the 1st one was soft and saveable. The 2nd and 3rd goal go in the vast majority of the time, against 90% of the goalies in the league. Anderson doesn't happen to be part of the exception. Obviously.

the jets had just 11 high danger chances in the last 2 games and they scored 7 times,,that is flat out BRUTAL

He was fine tonight. They didn’t win because of him, they won because they were the far better team. If not for big ears that game is a blowout.

The whole win as a team and lose as a team is completely lost on this fanbase. Always has to have a scapegoat. Usually a goalie, but not unknown to be a dman.

Usually suspects won't give props to Andersen tonight is all I'm saying. It'd be too much for them. Zeke, Deke, Peak and Squeak.

Most every night - what does that even mean?

I'll say it again, take a night off from hating on our goalie, put down the calculator and enjoy the win. Life's too short to waste on this hating BS night after night after night.

Rask, Korpisalo, Holtby.

We never have the upper hand in net.

Our forwards needed to be better against Columbus. Toronto got shutout twice in that series. Anderson shut Columbus out once... You can't win playoff series when your elite forwards (the foundation of your team) get held scoreless by friggen Korpisalo and Merzlikins. That's simply not good enough in any reality.

Still cant get over the noncall, what the heck are the refs thinking? Oh we cant give them a 4 on 3 in OT, so lets give the team that committed the slash a 3 on 2 with the puck on their stick in the attacking zone. Truly bizarre.
