When Timothy Liljegren and Travis Dermott are you two best defensemen...

Great to see the goal, but boy, this team and giveaways in their own zone.

Dermott has improved each year, I truly believe he made strong steps after a season of being paired with Bogosian. He's been far more physical and steady since then.

this leafs team has resurged from what they were September-December of 2017. This is run and gun again (finally). There’s no structure, games haven’t been boring as they were the past 2 years.

this team is built for run and gun.. it’s actually entertaining again and hope the defenders don’t stop pinching, Becuz this is what the leafs were missing for years

I'm really trying to like Holl. Really trying. Man it's tough. He could've gotten the puck up to the winger. Could've flipped it out to center to relieve the pressure. Could've reversed into Dermott. Could've even just iced it. But nope. Turns back gets caught by the forechecker. Then after 3 failed attempts to move the puck, he throws it right out in front of the net for a glorious scoring opportunity. Even as a third pairing guy he's struggling. He needs to at least sit when Sandin is back if not moved.

That was Matthews that swipped the puck to the open man infront... but yeah, I agree with you regardless.
