I know Leon is awesome, but has anyone actually ever seen a superstar player less impressive to the eye test than Draisaitl?

Someone last year called him a fridge on skates. He's oddly smooth and obviously sees the game at a different speed than most players.

they have the tenacity and skill to work well with him

If that line keeps working then you load up Tavares, Marner and Nylander.

When JT was on the Islanders he would routinely play with 2 guys who worked hard and grind. Matthews can do the same here.

Matthews can score but also can his 2 other linemates vs Marner who is a pass first guy

Yeah that was an awful shift from Holl. There's no defending it. He was pure garbage that period.

It's easy to see why without even looking at the numbers. The guy barely takes 5 strides a shift. Excellent passer, shooter, and just always knows where to be. Completely useless anywhere besides the offensive zone.
