Man any thought of making Jack Campbell the #1 goalie next year has to be gone you can't do it, he's already missed a month and then comes back, plays fantastic but doesn't even last a game before he's hurt again

I dont think a couple unrelated injuries should stop any decision about him. All players get injured sometime. Andersen included for example.

Gonna be hard to stay awake past the 2nd but if they're winning I can go to sleep thinking they won and if they are losing I won't feel like watching the end anyway, glass half full

IC that's true, but what if McJesus did the same with the Oilers wonder if that would be OK with Craig?
Wasn't Bozak, the player McDavid compared himself to before he got drafted? Can you just imagine McDavid's response being "I asked myself, Would I want to play for the Daryl Katz owned Oilers, or would I rather get the chance to play with the Maple Leafs alongside my favourite player in Tyler Bozak."

It's nice to have a 7pm start over a 4pm start once in a while. No trying to get on the ferry last min or missing half the 1st. No late dinner.

You old timers can stay up past your bedtime. I beLeaf in you.

I had two Coca Colas and have a root canal scheduled tomorrow. No problem staying up for this guy.

He hasn't had a sustainable track record to prove he deserves the reigns to the #1 goalie spot, injuries have always played a part in that. If he could stay healthy for a few games in a row it would be one thing but he's had a hard time even doing that. If he's starting next year we need another guy like him with a similar skill level and salary to be the #2, not a Hutch or a Sparks or even a Dell, not with the team constructed to go for it the next few years

I like everything feeling pushed back. If i feel like watching more hockey, theres a game at 7 too. Up early on the weekend and im hungover/lazy, theres usually a game on at 10am. As far as NA pro sports goes for me i like being in pst

Speaking of injury prone goalies, James Reimer and his long neck got him hurt plenty of times. I mean, I've see giraffes with shorter necks. He used to wrap that thing around the goal post to see what was going on behind the net, while his entire body was still in front of the net. It was just a matter of time before somebody clipped it and he was injured again.

No not assuming. Just never saw him favouring his leg last game, and the only real scare came when Ennis hit him. Now he's potentially out.

But other poster, more helpful than you, saw him favouring his leg a few times so it could be just that.
After Ennis ran him and he was back in net Hrudy pointed out that he flexed his left leg. Could have strained it on the hit.

being a leaf fan in BC has its perks  I actually prefer. the 4pm start times
I wish I could watch games at 4. When games start at 7 I bvasically have to pick what I want to do on a given night between hockey, video games or movies. If games started at 4 or 5, I'd be able to do two things.
