given the way matthews has performed this season I am convinced one of two is true

1) Matthews is playing injured

I'm ok with legalized gambling but I assumed the advertising around it would be treated more like say cigarettes. Instead it's taken center stage and even eating into normal things they'd otherwise show on the broadcast (in addition to many ads).
