What I liked about that game was the refs let both teams play. Some calls both ways didn't get called but they weren't anything major or made a difference in the play.

Haven’t seen too much to complain about officiating-wise so far. It’s so much better when Game Management isn’t a thing. And we see the officials *can* do a better job.

other than game 1 I was fine with the officiating and the main reason game 1 was bad was because McCauley shouldn't be reffing games Keefe is in. This game I know people are mad they didn't call that high stick on Brodie but Stamkos sold a high stick in the first when he didn't even get touched by a stick so I think it evens out.

Also there's a good chance we don't face a better team than that. Let's be honest here, Tampa was a lot better than most of us thought they would be especially considering the injuries to Cernak and Hedman.

they just play like they know how to win in the playoffs, i dont think any other team is going to give us nearly as much trouble getting out of the zone(although boston if they advance wont be easy either)

They did it! I've been on this forum since July 2007 when the Leafs signed Jason Blake lol. I've posted on here during the tail end of the Ferguson years, the arduous Burke/Nonis era, and now through the Shanahan/Dubas era. To see them finally get past this first round hurdle is surreal. Hopefully now that they've put this series win behind them, they can go on a run to the finals.

Luke Schenn was somehow our most important deadline acquisition. He played some very good hockey and some very important minutes, and he brought Mo to life.

Never in my wildest dreams did I think Schenn could be this good or valuable.

Schenn can actually neutralize a play on the boards. None of our other defence come close to doing the same. Best third round pick we have spent in years. Engvall out, Schenn in was a game changer
