It kinda shows how horrible those calls were last year too, this year the reffing was a million times better, letting inconsequential stuff go both ways and actually having the players decide.

They let everything small go in the latter half of the game both ways, which was nice. This included a nice cross check by Stamkos (that we had been penalized for many times in this series)

Sammy is the MVP. There should not even be a debate. He kept us in all series except for Game 1.
He outgoalied Vas.
Also, I give credits for the boys in making Vas human than Vas being average. Those goals that scored on Vas ain’t softies.

The whole Dcorps were great except for Holl. McCabe really came on and was reliable after the first 2 games.

Reilly was amazing.

The big four all got their moments in this Series win.

I said it at the TDL, ROR is the one who will make all the differences and moved the needle. And he had done just that.

Schenn and Acciari are so underrated and it is not even funny. The stuff these two are doing are exactly what we lacked over the last few seasons.

Kerfoot got his moment and Calle is just solid and his goals will come.

ZAR, Lafferty and Kampf are the quiet warriors.

Knies the Kid can play and is here to stay.

Bunting also played well today along with Lilly and Gus.

Dubas also deserves credit and Keefe is learning too.

I really think how the refs were the stories in the first few playoff games(not just us) we’re made into such a big deal, all the refs calm down and put the whistle away.
