FTFYKnies was a goddamn beauty onthat last shift leading up to the JT goalthat whole series
Congrats you guys. Enjoy this. I'm a Habs fan, and while I'm not going to cheer for Toronto, I love that Tampa got eliminated in round one.
Remember to drink some water tonight too.
Damnit I was at families house. Can’t really pull out my phone and watch the game sitting with people. Something something bad etiquette.I feel a bit bad for those PTSD victims who said they couldn't watch tonight, they missed a big time thrill! But at the same time I'm happy for them and I assume that many of them are OK now and can once again watch their team play.
GLG!!
Morgan was the star for us imo. Those shiners say “this is what needs to happen for us to win” without using any words. Leading by example.the star of this series was.Smasonov, no doubt.
In all honesty, Tampa deserved to win this series. Leafs tenacity paid off though and they didn't alow T.B into their interior very often.
Consider the juggernaught, although weakened, that the Leafs just beat. The have to believe.
Imagine if Boston loses tomorrow?
They looked calm and determined. They didn't need to dominate. They didn't play desperate or defeated. They knew if they played patient, they could get it done. Bieksa was saying it all night. So what do we make of this series? Beating Tampa in 6 is a good result but I thought the Leafs would look better than they did in this series, especially considering Tampa was missing Cernak and I'm guessing Hedman wasn't close to 100% for most of the series. Was Tampa just a lot better than the regular season indicated?
Tampa rope a doped the regular season. Obviously they have a strong group still, not the cup winning group but the offensivd zone domination is still there. The difference this year was Vas was pedestrian and we exposed his weakness. So what do we make of this series?
