Christ if Quinn Hughes played in Toronto he would be eviscerated. He is the definition of a forward playing defense.
C'mon, that first Vancouver goal was godawful. Boggles my mind that an NHL goalie could leave that much room on the short side when all he had to do was hug the post there. Bush league stuff. Fred needs to be better.
I noticed that too but looking back they were usually after a long shift from what I recall. I kept saying don’t give him the puck he doesn’t want it on one shift it felt like he was out there for 1:30 and every time he got it was in a tough situation against a way fresher player. He was solid moving the puck up ice but my god did he have some head scratching fumbles in the D zone. Had to check if he was wearing 51
Man...if JT ever says something like this following a loss like the Canucks took, please take the C off of him.

have you ever seen an NHL goalie give up muffins like Demko did tonight ?C'mon, that first Vancouver goal was godawful. Boggles my mind that an NHL goalie could leave that much room on the short side when all he had to do was hug the post there. Bush league stuff. Fred needs to be better.
Best game of the season. Easily.
I dunno man...they have the next Gretz and Coffey they should be able to do better.Eh they've had a rough ride. We were really tired last week and these guys have had an even more relentless schedule.

on AM's goal he literally had to open up his legs to give him a place to shoot , making himself as small as possible on a number of our other goals as well as being way out of position and giving our shooters tons of space to score on some of our goals
i've seen better beer league goalies than how Demko played tonight , lol
Not to complain too much, but it angers me when the refs stopped calling blatent penalties against the Canucks when the score was out of hand. I'm not even talking about ticky tacky calls, but like hard trips and massive hooks which should never be ignored.
You know what's funny? Huggies was great last year with stable defensive dman like Tanev. A lot of Leafs fans say the same with Rielly. When he had Hainsey he was at his best.So hes the nucks version of Mo then? Lol jk
Such an under the radar chirp at Babsocks.listening to the spezza interview now and he drops the 'gud pro' lol
Funny thing about the Canucks is that about 20% their fanbase is delusional. Just batshit crazy and living in fantasy land.
