Well, they have started to focus on the baseless claim that Dubas is damaging player development. It's so great because they're literally unable to post.
I think he was more so pissed at the bounce the puck took, so maybe pissed at himself. But he passed it to no one himself. Why he was upset with his teammates? Puzzling...
Did this go in?
It looks like it bounced of the post, the cross bar and out.

Or pissed no one was getting back as well...
I disagree. I thought William was fantastic. Drew the first two penalties and was a catalyst for second Simmonds goal I believe.I'm a *little* concerned about JT and Willy's line. They didn't play great tonigjt
Even after.
Vesey and Petan probably come out first.
A couple weeks to go before we are in that scenario, so it could change
Regardless what people may think of Keefe it’s clear as day how much of an impact he’s had on our team since joining us. Players look engaged and they tightened up defensively. They look like they actually enjoy playing under Keefe. Even with arguable off years so far from our #1 and #3 (Rielly and Muzzin) and shaky goaltending we have a 9-2-1 record. I know we say this all the time and it might not be true but this year genuinely feels different" That Matthews reaction says it all. They are rooting for each other"
A great call after the Simmonds goal. I hope it puts to bed the narrative that the Leafs are full of players who are selfish, and care about padding stats inatead of the team. It never was true.
After losing to a borderline playoff team like the CBJ last season, I'd still say the Leafs still needs to prove that they can beat a team like the Edmonton Oilers or the Calgary Flames in a 7 game series as they should, cant look past these teams. Not gonna lie, as much as I love beating up shitty Canadian teams and pissing off their annoying fanbases, I do wonder if it would be better for the Leafs to be playing in a harder division. There's the saying 'iron sharpens iron' and I think this team would learn more from playing against the Boston and TBs of the league rather than Ottawa/Vancouver/Edmonton/Calgary a whole bunch of times. Oh well, hopefully they continue to take advantage of these matchups.
Feels different because we don't have Tampa and Boston smothering us. The Leafs have been a very good team for almost 4 seasons now but we were stuck behind 2 absolute elite teams that gave us no breathing room. As the other poster said about wanting to be in a division with tougher teams, we've been doing that for 4 years since Auston came into the league and as much as it's good for their development and it obviously has turned them into monsters in this joke of a division, it's sometimes nice to actually see the fruit of your labor. Funny enough, however, Tampa and Boston are going to rout their divisions still, and both the Habs and Panthers look like they're going to be in on the party as well. So even if we handle the North, on the overall picture we might still end up behind Boston and Tampa.Regardless what people may think of Keefe it’s clear as day how much of an impact he’s had on our team since joining us. Respectfully disagree with the bolded. Simmonds is looking like his younger self.Matthews is on another level this year and with Marner buzzing again they are so deadly.
Simmonds is also looking like his older self too, hope he’s ok.
A lot to like out of tonight, especially that strong third to put the game away early.
Imagine if Babs was still coaching this team. Matthews and Marner still wouldn’t be weaving magic on the same line cause uhhhh they have to drive their own line. Marincin would still be the 6th defenceman cause uhhh he has a long stick. The core would still be unhappy cause uhhh he’d have them rating their teammates on who eats the most at post game meals. Marleau would still be on the top line cause uhhh he’s a gud pro. So many idiotic beliefs. Is that you, Mike?
Back in first place.
Canucks fans be like.
