His role will be primarily to be a physical forward, the fights will be fewer and only to retaliate.

Here is my theory. Sometimes the game dictates the action. So, if the other team is down 2-0 as they are now, what benefit does it serve for Reaves to go flying into their D, perhaps waking up their team and their home crowd? Very little really.

He can still pin the puck in and play along the boards, use his body, but sometimes his game style is best to be tempered when the other teams is their own worst enemy. Keep it that way, don't wake them up.

We need a true powerplay quarterback with brains, vision and offensive instincts. Rielly ain’t it. Someone like Tomas Kaberle , Andrei Markov, niklas lidstrom. A facilitator and main puck possession man puck holder/puck carrier who makes the right decisions at the right time for everyone.

We also Need a heavy, hard and accurate shot from the point. We don’t have someone like Bryan McCabe, Al mcinnis or PK Subban right now.

Matthews should be like ovechkin on the old classic capitals powerplay. He should be the Primary shooter/scorer in the face off dot/slot and should always be ready for the pass. Nylander the roving dual passing /shooting threat on the wing. Marner the primary setup-man/playmaker and domi/knies the puck retrievers and parking human buses in the front of the net. Domi being a pest with good hands annoying the goalie and knies giving the opposing goalie problems with his heavy game, physical presence ,size and skill .

If I say that Stolartz will get a shutout, does that mean it won't happen? I'd like to know how much power I have over this random sequence of events happening a time zone away.

It's always about him being a defensive mesure and "in case things get outta hand"... it shouldn't be his only role. He should be the reason why other teams dress a useless plug.

Why can't it be about him making a difference? Or maybe have an impact as the initiator or something? He's just not very good at all and quite frankly he's a ghost far too often regardless.
