Bezos has probably single handedly destroyed more retail businesses than anyone over the last 10 years.

The convenience and speed of delivery is difficult to resist. I try to buy local I really do, but I can't deny that ordering something in my housecoat and a few hours later having it on my doorstep is quite enjoyable.

Ditto for Walmart groceries from time to time.
