Honestly I think McMann sits if Dewar continues to show well. Knies always seems a lock with Keefe and the kid takes a shot and keeps coming. Bobby might have to wait his turn, which is a nice problem to have. Seems he isn't that close either though.

A really good player or two will have to sit when guys return. Nice to have great depth.

let this be a lesson if it already ain't. Incompetent people shouldn't be put on a pedestal no matter the subject matter field whether it be: 1) business, 2) sports, 3) sciences, 4) politics, 5) psychiatry, etc...

The bigger the incompetence and ego at the top the bigger the blunder it will be that would ruin everyone and everything

It was a blessing in disguise that he got fired !
Its obvious Kyle gave access in exchange for media puff pieces and overall ass kissing.

Boys what a game .. omg we played so much better than game 1 .. mattys line took charge of game and tilted ice to us and got 2 goals they need to score every playoff game .. our 4th line again also tilted ice in our favour .. lines 2 and 3 were better than game 1 especially holmberg .. but bottom line you win in playoffs with your tender and sammy made 2 huge 10 bellers when required .. our D was much better clearing net so sammy coild see pucks .. only concern is lily .. he is making too many mistakes and sammy bailed him out .. i think id rather have gio in for him .. he is just not strong enough on puck and cant process fast enough .. stop crapping on mitch he is playing with pain i confirmed it with his dad tonight we are better off with him in than sitting .. like i told you guys before series started mitchs main role in this series will be defence and pp and pk .. go leafs go .. wifey doing all night drive from beantown .. crazy to be doing this at 60 but board mtg at 10am .. we will need 3 more ace games from sammy .. he did it last year and he will do it again

After game 1 Sammy was unwavering about the confidence he had in himself.

Given how this year has gone, that was important for him. But he had to put up tonight. And he did. That save early in the third was the turning point IMO. Ensured the Leafs wouldn't chase the game.

There is 0% chance the audio is from that clip.

I've seen enough of Edwards to know that he was likely calling for Bertuzzi to be banned from the league.

Haha, you're probably right. I should have known that was too good to be true.

And Shanahan fully believed in him. He was going to bring him back again until Kyle tried to wrestle power from him. Shanahan was apparently a sucker for fake glasses.

Not too sure. McMann has provided some key depth scoring in the top 9.

Guess it depends on Dewar's value on the PK. But if he can forecheck like he did tonight and help the 4th line generate some offensive zone time, that's a different story.

Wooooooooooooooo

Huge huge win. Basically validated their existence tonight after game 1.

Answered the bell somehow got it done to turn the series.

Robertson deserves some love too. There was one play in particular I thought he showed some real maturity. There was a line change coming and instead of the easy dump to give them the puck, he recognized the ice and curled back to hold the puck and let us change. Million miles an hour Robbie is slowly becoming slow it down and do the smart thing. He slots back out when Willie comes in, but he's gaining more and more defensive confidence. And he was robbed too tonight.

Love McMann, guess it depends if we're coming off a loss or win when he's ready.

I take Robertson out for McMann

But when Willy is back too .. The only next option is Reaves IMO ... Reavo has done well, but we have to be weary of rose coloured glasses too.

If he's healthy, McMann provides a good element size, speed, and grit. He'd be a big help on the forecheck.

Oh for sure, I already assume Willie slots in for Robbie. Reaves can't come out right now, he's doing exactly what we need, I'd love to see their zone time tonight.

He's reaching a little there, but forgive him, he's happy they won and trying to be positive about everyone, lol
Marner was not great!
Second half he settled in and he's the one who won the puck on the wall to close out the win, but for sure he wasn't great. Need more dynamic play for sure.

I think this is the last year he is a "yo-yo" player

I really believe that by next year he will have worked out his issues of pace and picking his spots to show his skill and will be a super valuable piece. I can see him becoming similar to a Daniel Sprong, someone who plays 12-14 minutes but gives you ~20 goals and ~40 points and maybe more

He's making a solid argument that he shouldn't be the one who comes out which is a good thing. If only Ullmark hadn't robbed him man...

What a difference a goal makes. This town would have been miserable the next few days. Now I feel like streaking. Nothing better than waking up in the morning after a big win. 3 more
