I'm just worried about what we give up. I want him too, I like him, thinks he helps the team. I can only hope it's something like MacA + Bozak
 
This is the most scared I've been as a Leafs fan I think lol. I trusted Burke. I do trust Nonis, but I'm scared the owners will force him to do something. Burke wouldn't take that ****.

Unfortunately, you'll have to wait 3-5 years to see all of those guys on the team. If they ever make the mistake of putting all of them in the team, #1 pick will be a lock, and the development of all of them cept Blacker and Frattin will be screwed up beyond repair.

When both Rielly and Gardiner are ready, yes. So maybe 1-2 years. Although, he seems like a good veteran presence and he's an offensive dman and I wouldn't mind him mentoring them both for a season.

Agreed. He knows his role and he's a great leader. Well respected and a class act.. Who knows where this team is going now though..

Not giving up on him. Give him time. Guys like D'Amigo, Ross, McKegg and Colbourne could be good role players. Leafs are set there. Don't forget about Dominic Toninato (american), could blossom as a 2nd/3rd line center.

Of course but this is way too far down the road. Toninato you're looking at, probably atleast 4 years. These guys aren't ready for this at all.
