Guaranteed. Its been nearly 10 yrs man. The message is growing stale. It happens to every coach. Firing Bednar doesnt mean hes all a sudden a bad coach. Hes a great coach but it might be time for a new voice.
Might help if he had a proper top 6 forward group and top 4 D group to start with.

I'm telling you, it's been proven to work. It's not rocket science. When lines 2/3/4 are getting just slightly more minutes, not only are they more into the game but the top line is more fresh ESPECIALLY in the 3rd. It makes a world of difference in the long run, too.
Ditto the D pairs.

For whatever reason, guys that were brought in have taken a major step back. Do we blame coaching?
Wood, Colton, and Mittlestadt lead the blame game for obvious reasons. All guys are hitting career worst seasons or what seems like career worse play from them while wearing an Avs uniform. On paper these signings and trades had pretty sound reasoning for Cmac to make the move. Just mind boggling how far they are falling off and useless they are whether it's an injury or our system.
