Doesn't make sense how people are sitting there saying Cloutier didn't get the job done in Vancouver.. If you haven't noticed not even Luo could get the job done in Vancouver. Sometimes things just aren't meant to be..
 
Should we be expecting something to happen. I mean, its a little weird that all of a sudden our gm gets replaced on the day the cba gets finalized and trades are allowed.

Maybe I'm reading in to this too much, but I'm a little excited :laugh:

If anything, this move screwed up the Leafs negotation advantage over the Canucks when it comes to Luongo because of the new CBA. Now, they are just a desparate hockey team that hasn't made the playoffs since pre-2005, who just fired their general manager.

This is my only fear about the firing of Burke. Otherwise, I felt it was a good hockey and business decision.
