I am in Golf/Hospitality. I managed a restaurant at a very well respected private club in the Philly area.

Well we don't golf about 6 months out of the year here so that's out of the question . I'm only kidding, best of luck.

Just got back from the game, solid 6-2 win for the Rockets but it was close till half way through the third.

Wasn't watching players specifically too much, but #7 from Kelowna and #4 from Medicine Hat looked pretty solid on defence. I was really impressed with Kelowna's passing/breakout, hard crisp plays created a lot of solid chances. Will probably go back for a playoff game at some point

10-0 Gmen win and Osipov doesn't get a point, lol.

You should go to the Rockets - Winterhawks playoff game when they play, Baarle.

Edit: Hey four of the guys I told you to watch had huge statistical nights :P. Bowey, Chartier, Olsen, and Bell

Edit2 : LOL

Can anyone recommend me a bicep workout other than: curls, bar curls, chin ups?
The machines work well as a warm up, but they never seem to really make me sore.

Free weights while sitting on an inclined bench and rotate your arms in different angles for different part.

Super set with 2 of the bolded ones.

Bicep isn't really a muscle that stays sore. That's more of a tricep thing IMO. If you're doing your curls properly your arms should get at least tired and they should be difficult, if not you're either not doing them properly or you should add weight.

If you want to be sore, start working your triceps, which is a bigger part of your arm.

any trades people in here?

I'm 25 and looking to get into a trade, plumbing or electrical. The only work experience I have is retail, so I'm not sure where to start, all the jobs I see online are for 2nd+ year apprentices. I was wondering if a pre-apprentice program was worth it to get a background, or is it better to keep trying to find someone who is willing to take me on

From what I know, Electrical is a better field to get into than Plumbing right now, especially residential. Any handyman can do some plumbing work

Artists should demand that company's show their name and song title in their commercials, it's free marketing for them and saves consumers and a lot of time trying to search lyrics on google

They get paid for them using the song to begin with.

I know that, but I've seen some commercials have the song title and artist name and I'm not sure why this isn't a regular thing.

Company probably pays less in order to put their name and what not up there, or maybe the band wants their name to be up there.

I've mentioned it before, but my brother does the heating/ air conditioning for all the MLSE stuff.

I'm not sure if it was at the ACC, but Tim Leiweke walked by him and some coworkers the other day and said "Hey guys how's it going?" and he was just kind of shrugged and said "good". When he left, my bro's coworker said to him "you have no idea who that is do you?".

My brother could not care less about sports. He says the same thing regularly happens with Leafs players walking by, and he has no clue who they are haha. He asked me the other day who the captain of the Leafs is

Omg...It's pretty difficult to get in to MLSE in any sort of position that isn't 'here's 75$ a week to be an intern!'
