Well, I woke up and saw a note on my door. When I checked, it was a notice that a shipping company had attempted to deliver my package. A package I was expecting in 12-14 days that only took 6 days to deliver. What... the... ****... Worst part is they said they'll leave it at a terminal after a 2nd failed attempt and said they'll reattempt the delivery on Monday, when no one will be home till 7.

It's Canpar, just so you do know.

Worst part is they never said they'll leave it at a terminal and instead said they'll reattempt the delivery on Monday, when no one will be home till 7.

****ing worst. I have something that's supposed to arrive today/tomorrow, and I just came down with something nasty, so now I'll be home for sure. Whether I'll hear the damn door in my delirious state is another question...

Agreed, although is it fairly one sided, they provide a lot of good video footage and facts backed up by previous trainers.

Well Sea World was too scared to even try to defend themselves publicly. They would rather hide behind closed courtroom doors and have their lawyers slander the dead trainers.

The breeding program is what blew my mind. When you are breeding animals you need to be passive, you don't use a repeated killer as the main source of genetic material. By the time of the doc over half of all the orca could be genetically linked to that one that had killed multiple people. That is not only the height of stupidity, but totally irresponsible.

Yeah its also crazy how they constantly lie to their employees and even try to keep them from the truth. They also have them spew complete garbage and false facts to their audiences.

What was in the package?

A couple of cheap Bauer skates. I went to a local Pro Hockey Life and tried some skates on just as a size reference point to get a good idea. I wanted to just learn how to skate again because I tried on synthetic ice a month ago and loved it, despite the fact that I was tripping all over the place. So much so, I needed to use 2 big black men as supporting ballasts. That got awkward in a hurry.

I'm generally a self-taught man, but I don't think that will help in this situation. I'll need a friend to help, and a couple of basketball players, a crackhead, and the girl I've been trying to woo (who I've gone into great detail about with you) can't skate for ****, so they're out as tutors.

What are the best cheap skates? I need something that won't make me roll my ankles constantly but I don't want to spend a lot. Would I be better buying used?

I would just take a chair or pylon to a rink when there's free public skating and do it that way. You learn some basics and how to balance yourself, and then you can learn to stop. If you're just doing some recreational stuff there's not much to it.

How do you suppose I bring Mark Fraser to the rink? :shakehead:sarcasm:

Biggest problem is the fact that my ankles are really weak. They constantly rolled around in my skates last time I went, and I'm sure I had the right size.

Be sure to use a Bauer Supreme type skate. Supreme's typically are more sturdy around the ankle as opposed to the Bauer Vapor series. or maybe some RBK's with some pumps.

You guys needed help from others learning to skate? I just went out there, started off slow as to not trip or whatever and not long later that day was skating pretty fast, It's super easy to learn.

Simply amazing Kyle. I love how no matter what someone says, you're always able to top it. Everyone loves that guy who gets everything right away.

Everyone ties their skates different, you might not have had them the way you'd like them. A lot of people like them loose on the top, however i cannot stand that. I like having my skates tight on the top, i often tape them so they dont become loose.

I've never found my 'thing', always just been good at whatever I try. But alas, I am too unmotivated and lazy to stick with stuff, school, sports, etc.

For example, I used to play sports, Soccer, Hockey, Football I was good but just stopped because I didn't feel like it
