Has had a banger of a season start in the KHL
3 points, is +6, has scored 1 goal in 6 games so far.

- i watched Ufa's last night game, he looked great out there,
very steady play, had a good 2-way game, looks super calm, with and without the puck

His ice time has differed, greatly, this season.

In his first 2 games, he played avg of 12 minutes,
then in his 3rd game, 3 seconds shy of 8 minutes,
4th game : almost 16 minutes, 5th, about 9 minutes
and last night he played about 15 minutes.

Has recorded at least 1 shot on goal in his each game so far (1, 2, 1, 2, 1, 1)
Has recorded just 1 hit and 2 blocked shots.

I suspect, he won't be picked in the 1st round just because GMs don't wanna feel confused, while pronouncing his last name. I mean, they all are big bosses, and what big boss wanna look stupid.

DND for me

He's not DND for me, but if I was running things, my whole list would have to be picked before I considered picking this guy.

The puck skills and hockey sense are non-existent from the games I've seen, and he runs himself out of position defensively with terrible decisions a little too often. Great athlete. Don't think he plays hockey well.

Even thou he didn't get an assist on 1-0 Ufa PP goal, he should of, they don't give 3rd assists thou.
Man, what a smart, young d-man.

Oh, right...Ufa coach decided to put him to 1st PP unit.
- good decision

Already has 5 points in 11 games in the KHL so far, after having 1 in 27 last season.
Again, Ufa is so short on players he is playing on a stacked 1st PP unit. Although his offensive skills are obvious. On the D it's not so great yet hence in the last game, for example, he played ~10 minutes on PP and only ~7 5 on 5.

He also made awful mistake on his blue line when Vityaz scored its 3rd goal

And it was the 2nd time already in that game he did almost exactly that same thing, Larichev (IIRC it was him) just couldn't finish.

But the mistake itself, on the other hand, wasn't that awful for a young D. He just tried a skill play over safe one. It's natural for a guy who is used to dominate opposition, he will just have to learn and adjust.

I hope that this happens not because of low hockey IQ, but because he is very young.

This kid is the definition of a Boom/Bust player. Has flashes of brilliance, but then he does shocking things that makes you wonder if he understand the game at all. His hockey IQ is not great at all.

Hope Detroit stays away from him.

I don’t see the passing ability to be an offensive threat either, although I haven’t seen his games this season. Maybe he’s improved a lot.
