Barkov Stanley cup champ!
Great example for a player who went from overrated to underrated. It could be good though, he can make a nice solid quiet rise.
I think he'll go before Honka, seeing how disappointing Honka has been lately. Now 5 assists in 8 games. Kid just keeps producing. His team isn't even close to the top teams.

Absolutely no chance with Kokkonen's skating.I think he'll go before Honka, seeing how disappointing Honka has been lately.
It’s not a speedskating contest, and Kokkonen’s skating seems to be clearly stronger than it was last year. And he seems to be a lot more balanced as a player than Honka is. A lot better also defensively. I really like how Kokkonen has been playing this season. He has been clearly better than Honka.Absolutely no chance with Kokkonen's skating.
I mean....he is?Pretty intrigued by this kid, any chance he emerges as a legitimate prospect?
What do you mean with "legitimate prospect"? 1st round or?Pretty intrigued by this kid, any chance he emerges as a legitimate prospect?

Is Anttoni Honka a carbon copy of his older brother, i.e a great skater but often holds on to the puck for too long and makes bad plays? I don't follow Liiga that much.
I would think he goes 3rd or 4th round, definitely not first round material in my mind. He's not a big a guy, and his skating is average. Judging by his stats, his shot isn't anything special either. Looked he's got a decent hockey IQ and vision, but he's still adjusting to tempo of mens game. This being said, I've only watched one game of him so I could be totally wrong.Sorry, I meant as in a top 10 or top 15 guy.
I haven't watched a single game this year from him but can confirm the latest he'll go is 2nd round. 3rd is possible as well but I just don't see it.I would think he goes 3rd or 4th round, definitely not first round material in my mind. Right now he's playing in a way too big of a role in JYP which is showing his weaknesses. I still firmly believe his skating and offensive skill will cover up his defensive flaws in the future. Also seems to have a better hockey IQ than Julius. Is Anttoni Honka a carbon copy of his older brother, i.e a great skater but often holds on to the puck for too long and makes bad plays? ...Definitely? Dear me. Honka has far more potential.Added an assist too, so 1+1 tonight. 1+6 in 13 games.
Definitely better than Honka.
