Hull? Sutter? Staal? Seems a bit premature

Depends on your criteria I guess, 6 brothers in the NHL is pretty nutty. 6 cousins from that group were good youth players and Brandon had a pretty lengthy NHL career. And Bobby and Brett are both Top whateverish (very high) Goal Scorers of all time. The 3 Staal brothers (sorry Jared) all had excellent careers.
Can't forget Gretzky.

There is a difference between talented and best. Sutters have other attributes that allows them to be very successful. In terms of puck skills, hockey sense, skating and simple being dynamic, the Hughes brothers are off the charts.

Don’t get the backlash to this post, they won 6-2 all even strength goals. Definitely unimpressive to be the only minus, the other guys on the ice would’ve got a minus for that goal too. They’re acting as if it solely affected Luke lmao. That is an unfavorable stat. He looked horrible compared to Quinn in his first NHL game which was at the end of his D+1 rather than D+2. I went to Quinn’s first game and he was electric out there, like watching Pavel Bure as a dman. Whole crowd was chanting “we want Hughes” in OT until the coach put him out there and he deked around everybody and nearly setup the winner, already had a point that game too. By far the least dynamic of the 3 brothers.
You’ve already proven to everyone that your talent evaluation is terrible with your Kravtsov predictions. Please don’t pollute this thread with your nonsense as well.

Different times , different era. The Hughes family is a hockey family and they seem to have made the most of their privileged up bringing. All r brothers have all star potential. I'd say the closest thing to them recently would be the Staal brothers. Eric was a top line center , Marc Staal was a very underrated shutdown defender and Jordan a solid 3rd/2nd line center. Their youngest brother was a career minor leaguer but that is still an accomplishment. The Hughes brothers are on a different level when it comes to how good all 3 are. If they were all on 3 different teams we are talking potential to be their respective team's MVP. That's pretty crazy.

That was a nice goal. First shot is saved but drags the goalie out of the net, He then retrieves the puck and goes around the net and easily puts it in.

Meier should make Luke his apprentice. They can work on wraparounds together.:thumbu:

Didn’t even take a week for this take to curdle.

sounds familiar except Luke actually got the winner (+ already had a point that game too)
