Been recalled yesterday night, practicing today on a pair with Klefbom and on the 2nd powerplay with McDavid & Yakupov.

Will he established himself and force the Oilers organization to keep him in the NHL? I hope! What do you guys think!?

Hopefully, but I think this will be a 3 game call up and hell be sent back down. Reinhart will be coming back from injury and looked good before going down, hell need ice time

Ill be interested to watch, but im not expecting Nurse to blow the doors off right now and stick with the team for good. Needs a bit more seasoning

Oo, didnt know he was recalled.

He going in tonight? I'll have to try to get a few looks in during commercial breaks in the Jets game.

Yep, it seems like he is playing tonight! Paired with Klefbom and playing on the 2nd PP with McJesus, Yakupov, Pouliot and Klefbom!

Excited to watch him. He looked like our best NHL defenceman as a rookie in camp years ago. I thought he looked like our best D in preseason this year too but he's very raw. Very fast, strong player with a nice pass.

Played a pretty reliable game today! Really looks like he's learning to hold himself back compared to before, and obviously when he pinched, it paid off pretty well.

Was a bright spot tonight with Klefbom. I like that pairing. He played a controlled game tonight. He's got excellent speed and he's very strong. He'll have a very long career.

Interesting that they were paired together. They're both southpaw's aren't they?

yeah, they both shoot left. I guess Edmonton is taking the lead from Calgary with Giordano and Brodie (both shoot left) playing so well together last year.

It is so annoying how the oilers never said what Reinhart's injury is and i am happy nurse was recalled. Nurse happens to be from my hometown and is a very good dman.

I like him too but his play tonight has been...

If he can work on his shot, he could be a huge offensive dman. His skating is elite and he likes to jump up in the rush. If hr can learn how to qb a pp, watch out!

I think he was a bit tentative because he hasn't played enough in the NHL yet and he isn't all that comfortable with his team-mates and his role on the team.

Thought he looked all right

He may he have looked tentative because he was playing with a new partner (Sekera). I saw a pass that went where he was expecting Sekera would get to but Sekera wasn't able to and it turned into more D zone time.

I liked his game last night. He is playing a little tentative, but I think thats just because he doesn't want to make mistakes while he's getting comfortable in the league. He's going to be so important to this team breaking up the cycle and getting the puck moving the other way, especially when we start seeing him be a little more physical (goes back to him getting comfortable, he can dominate physically when he wants to). I know a lot of people questioned his offensive upside, but I'm liking what I'm seeing out of him. He's showing more patience and better decision making with the puck in the offensive zone, and he's been a lot smarter with his puck rushing.

I still find it crazy how well he skates at 6'4 215. I think he could easily end up 220-230 and still be an elite skater which is terrifying when you consider his aggressive nature. I also think his shot has come quite a ways and will continue to get better with a couple more off seasons of training. This guy is going to be a top pairing defenceman someday I will almost guarantee it, it just remains to be seen if his offensive game will continue to progress to the point of a #1 D or not. He certainly has the tools if he can put it all together.
