He also brings a lot of elements to the game that teams want heading into the playoffs. A 20 goal, .5 ppg guy on a traditionally lower scoring team, who is physical and brings a sound defensive game is certainly somebody that would garner interest for playoff teams. Sure he's having a rough season, but he could turn it around, he isn't old, he doesn't have a history of injuries. He's just on a line with a couple of guys who ideally should be 4th liners. But Utah is in the hunt, so I expect the correct answer is "he's not available". I'm guessing that they would rather add a couple of scorers to give him some support on the 3rd line, and slide Bjugstad and McBain down to the 4th line.
