You dont watch the games but they're not trying to develop Mesar, they're trying to make him fit into a mold he's not suited for and we will regret it because he's losing the qualities that made him a 1st round pick to begin with.
In my opinion, this is them trying to teach him a lesson or maybe punish him for having no filter with the media.
I have seen this happen with other sports, guys make some rookie mistakes that challenges the "authority" and they're punished for it and served as examples. Super dumb but its the reality of sports business.
The thing is, he's not doing all that woerst than Beck, the difference is Beck is on the first PP and is barely doing better. Everyone knows that Mesar is alot more skillful than most of the AHL roster and the PP would be much more productive if he was on it. But he's not.... why? only god knows
