LMFAO not a chance. An equal % would be disappointed if the Leafs won a round and would be dismayed if they actually won a Cup.

Toronto media will defend him no matter what happens in the playoffs. Dubas has a job for life unless Matthews decides to leave after his term is done.
Zeke doesn't believe most things he posts. He simply tries to get a rise out of people, and is often successful. This is the same poster who years ago died on the hill saying Reimer was a legitimate starting option, and then continually made a scapegoat of Freddie Andersen, who was a much better goaltender.
Anyway, to the topic at hand I doubt either Keefe/Dubas is fired this summer, regardless of what happens in the first round. Setting franchise records in points and wins will buy them another season at least.

The ones that will be disappointed if the Leafs win the Cup? Highly doubtful.LMFAO not a chance.
As a matter of fact, I think those “Fans” will be the ones celebrating a playoff round win the most out of the entire fan base.
You're right - Fred has had the luxury of playing behind better teams.
That can't be right. You've posted here ad nauseum that the Leafs were terrible defensively under Babcock for which Freddy was the starter for over 3 seasons, or about half his career in terms of GP.
Look at that. We can actually agree on something.Better than Reimer's leafs.
They followed it up with a cup win.
We followed it up choking a 3-1 series lead.
I really think they keep the Mrazek contract, and set him up with a nice piece of property on the lovely shore of Robidas Isle. The 3.8 m LTIR hold back will help the cap situation. They have some signings they have to make, maybe another top 6 winger that suits JT, the team will also have to retool the 4th line, a bigger guy who moves well and PK's. The D may need some attention as Gio's a UFA and could get offers the Bud's may not be willing to match. Same goes for Mikheyev, to find another big fast guy who can give you 25 will run into the 5's for first time guy in that club.Ii don't disagree that the team has some complex manuvering to do, but I'd disagree that there is an outright NEED or even desirability to move a bigger contract like Nylanders.
Again, I think you may be a bit optimistic on what Mik will cost, there's always another team needing some skill in their top six that eill likely be able to offer a bigger contract - just as what happened with Hyman. Ie why sign with the Leafs for 4.75x4 when you could get 5.5x5 somewhere else ect.
There's always contracts that can be moved. Kerfoot, Muzzin (I'd disagree it's going to cost the team to trade him), even Mzarek gives Dubas 11+ mil to play around with if he so chooses. If Milk goes to another team as I think he dos, that free agency spending amount grows even more.
The cap also isn't going to stay static. It's expected to start to rise more notably as Matthews/Nylanders contracts come to an end in 2024 too.
Hard to have success when you get 1 goal from 33.5m in cap from the forwards. They followed it up with a cup win.

He’s due back in a few weeks and might still be a factor in the post season. I wouldn’t write him off to Robidas island quite yet over one poor season.I really think they keep the Mrazek contract, and set him up with a nice piece of property on the lovely shore of Robidas Isle. Tbh I think you'd have to cross a lot of fingers for that. If Jack has a good series 1 and gets the Leafs to the second round,He’s due back in a few weeks and might still be a factor in the post season. I wouldn’t write him off to Robidas island quite yet over one poor season.
I think it’s 50/50 he either is moved in a soft deal or they run it back with soup & Petr and try and rehab some value if nothing else shakes out in the off-season

Wouldn't Keefe be Dubas' call ?Don’t think Shanahan lets go of either Dubas or Keefe and rightfully so. Only way management changes is if MLSE board cleans house.
