Heck now, we could get that sending Larkin alone.Gotta think something like Larkin, Antjo and Cossa for McTavish, McQueen and Stolberg. That could be beneficial to both teams

You missed my point. What if Seider and Raymond feel the same way that Larkin does? What if the core and future of the team thinks the front office is doing a crappy job and they also want out of town?
Either you die a hero or you live long enough to become the villain. Is larkin going to end up one of the most vilified red wings in a long time?
You never know but They’re too young to want out atm I’d think + they’re besties will they really want to split up? Larkin lost bertuzzi and probably cried in his moms basement sinceYou missed my point. What if Seider and Raymond feel the same way that Larkin does? A true captain move that will then manage to make Yzerman 100% the hero again among his haters and would be the best captain thing Larkin ever done. The NTC and trade request are relevant for sure here, but there’s just no way that Larkin says “I’m only going to Minnesota, Florida, or Tampa” and Yzerman is like “Oh ok makes sense we’ll take Stramel and change.” I think fans overstate this idea sometimes, but I legitimately think Yzerman would let Larkin rot before taking that.
Hughes could have just agreed to sign an extension if he wanted to come to Detroit. It wasn't hard.I can’t help but think the final straw was when Yzerman didn’t pull the trigger on a Hughes trade. Even Hughes was pissed
I don’t think anyone would do that, even if he wanted to come to Detroit. As a player, After next year, you can see what all your options are and it’s likely that the longer you wait the more the cap goes up and you get paid more as AAV anywaysHughes could have just agreed to sign an extension if he wanted to come to Detroit. Then he can't really be upset can he. If he want to come after next season he can come.I don’t think anyone would do that, even if he wanted to come to Detroit. I'm not rooting for disaster. I'm trying to be realistic about how big the current mess is.I mean yeah then we're completely and utterly screwed and this board should just get taken down and there's nothing left to talk about.
You're a blast at parties
Yes it is.That’s not a reason to sign.
You did see where He was effusive in his praise for Guerin for taking that risk, right? Anyways, I’m more interested in Larkin being pissed that the Wings didn’t take that riskThen he can't really be upset can he. If he want to come after next season he can come.
True. We've already seen buffalo willing to trade some significant pieces for the botched Parayko trade so maybe there's an appetite for it. Also it's not every year that three 1B/2C calibre players are are seemingly on the market at the same time. It should be a fun summer regardlessWe'll see. When Utah was interested in Thomas at the TDL, the reports were that they wouldn't include Desnoyers or Simashev. I thought they should have. Granted, Thomas is better, younger, and has a better contract than Larkin. I hope teams make these types of trades but GMs seem to always hold onto to their blue chip prospects especially their top 5 picks. This is why the Hughes trade was stunning since it included Buium. Then again Hughes is a top 5 player in the league.
